I have a prayer request. Christopher is going to have a little work done tomorrow. Surgically speaking. You may recall we went to visit the GI a few weeks ago. She ran into some difficulty doing a rectal exam, and when she talked to his surgeon, she agreed it sounded like a rectal stricture. It's a band of scar tissue around the anus, and sounds to me that's been making him poo in diarrhea ribbons and causing some constipation. So, they want to go in and do some dilation. We got the option of knocking him out and doing it as an outpatient surgical procedure. They like to do that when they're older, so they are spared the trauma. Dr. West told us, she didn't want to make him hate her. This way no one hates anyone, except maybe us for not giving him breakfast. Anyway, please pray that it all goes well tomorrow.

We got a call this afternoon, initially telling us to be there at 6 a.m. (yuck.) but then they called back telling us to be back at 8:30 am and the procedure is at 10. Better but someone will be snippy about not getting breakfast.
