I just had to write this down. Eric thinks that Chris is beginning to assert his preference that he wants to be called Chris instead of Christopher. We use both names, you see. This morning, Eric handed him a breakfast waffle, and said, Here's your Waffle Christopher. Chris mumbled something I didn't catch. Then said, I'm Ters (I'm Chris!) Eric told me his theory. I said, What?! He's saying I'm not Christopher, I'm Chris? I didn't believe him. To prove my point, Chris then said, "I not Tiffers, I Ters." (I'm not Christopher, I'm Chris.)
